Thanks to everyone who voted for Brody and his painting. HE WON! I think he is going to get a personalized story book as his prize.
I've been swamped, both at home and work. I am going to try to get apost up today about our weekend, but I can't make any promises!!
Be back soon....

Weekend Wedding Recap
My girls and I tend to get a little crazy when we are together. In fact, as we were walking into the ceremony, a lady who I later found out was the brides aunt, asked us if we were the rugby girls. We had a reputation before the wedding even started!
Here's a shot of us, proving who we are for the camera, I guess! The food was great, the dance was fun, the boys were cute, what more could we have asked for??

Oh, I don't know, maybe one of those cute boys picking me a flower?? :) It didn't stay this pretty for long.

Before the ceremony, we hit a few of the local bars. It was in a small riverside college town, so lots of fun little hole in the wall joints.

I really like this picture of me and Willy. One of my favorite people ever.
Funny story - after the wedding we went back out into the bars (with the cute boys who of course bought all the drinks!) In one of the bars I got asked the weirdest question I have EVER been asked. IT went something like this:
Girl in bar to me - OMG I absolutely LOVE your dress!!! What size are you?
ME - Oh, well thanks. It's Candies brand, so it's probably an 8 or a 10, I don't know.
Girl - I love it. I want it. Do you think you could sell it to me? and your cute red shoes too??
ME - Um, no, I don't think so, I really like it too. I bet you can find one online.
So I turned back to my friends, wanting the crazy girl to leave. She comes back with 2 shots, gives me one. We cheers, and after the shot she says
"How about $30 plus we can switch outfits right now in the bathroom?"
ME - Uh, that's pretty gross. I think I will just keep my dress. But thanks anyways.
SERIOUSLY.
How does this stuff always happen to me? Crazy girl.

I'm not ignoring you.
I haven't been meaning on neglecting my blog. I can't believe tomorrow is already Thursday!! This week has FLOWN by.
We had a pretty uneventful 4th. Fun, but we just stuck around home and family. I had some projects around here to finish up and my dad put two ceiling fans in our bedrooms finally. I bought them 9 months ago. (Still no progress on the bathroom, and everything has been bought and hanging out in the garage for a YEAR for that project. Oh well.)
Adam is going to Vegas this weekend. With some guy friends. He'll have a good time. Then yesterday I find out my sister will ALSO be there this weekend for a dental conference. I'm a TEENSY bit jealous. (Is it bad if I don't tell them that the other was there until AFTER they get back??? I want to be there!!!!) I doubt they'd run in to eachother anyways.
I can't remember what it was like to have the tv to myself and watch adult shows at night. Now, it's cartoons or Disney movies. Anyone else have a kid who is OBSESSED with that stupid Phineas and Ferb or whatever it's called???? It's a great show.
I've been running on my treadmill 2 miles every day for the last 2 weeks. I feel GREAT!
I haven't really lost any more weight, but I feel firmer which is awesome. I'm going to wait a few more weeks and then take measurements to see what's going on.
I have a wedding this weekend for an old college friend. It'll be really fun. A bunch of our old group will be there, some of which I haven't seen in YEARS. Thank god for facebook!!! Seriously.
Then next weekend I have a bachelorette party for my friend, whose nickname is STEAMER. It's sure to get ridiculous. I can't wait!

Check out my stash!
Holy Motherload. My swap partner, DivaEva,
is awesome.
I went to the post office on Monday, and had a HUGE box waiting for me. She even decorated the outside!
(I am so mad at myself, my cameras battery was really low and I only snapped a couple of pictures before it was done for.)
Check it out - she left NOTHING out. In my stash, I got everything I need to have a great 4th of July. (Let's see if I can list everything and not leave anything out!)
Paper plates, cups, napkins, a tablecloth, all flag decor. 2 bags of roasted peanuts (YUM - good thing there are 2 bags because the Brodster and I both love em), candy, (Brody claimed this) red white and blue beads, an adorable flag decoration, 3 little flags to wave around (BRody has claimed these too), red white and blue flip flops, an adorable daisy bandana, Sparklers and snaps for Brody,
(Eva I can't even tell you how excited he was that he got presents too!!!), a HotWheels coloring pad for Brody, and a bottle of Cosmopolitan mix for me. Eva also included a light saber and glow ball that I wanted, but Brody sadly claimed as his own. I wish I had pictures of him showing off his fighting moves with the light saber. It's classic.
and I am not finished yet - I also got red white and blue socks, decoration lanterns, and some pins! ~ and the cutest notecards ever, can't wait to write some letters!
I did get some pics last night of Brody trying out the fireworks! He had a blast!

Thanks so much Eva!!!! You rock! If you guys haven't been by her blog - you must. It's a fantastically fun read!!
Psst..... Check out this giveaway!!!!!
John Deere Mom has me all jealous again.
She always has the best giveaways!! Hopefully I WIN this time!!
Brody would love me forever!
